What the record says
On January 17, 2017, the CIA announced online access to approximately 930,000 declassified documents, totaling more than 12 million pages. The CREST collection had previously required an in-person visit to the National Archives in Maryland. It includes material on Cold War history, intelligence analysis, and scientific research.
